The Gaperon is an artisan cheese made ​​from cow's milk in Auvergne , mountainous area of central France . It has an original shape that resembles a small igloo, with thin crust, edible and slightly floral. The paste inside is soft but firm and is enriched with black peppercorns and garlic wires "pink" grown in the Limagne.


It is a cheese of ancient origins and traditions that was once left to mature hanging in the kitchen. The number of hanging Gaperon also identified the economic possibilities of every family...
