Towards the end of the 800, when Giolitti was preparing to African adventure, the brilliant Marco Barbero Cherasco, man of humble origins, he decided to learn to be a pastry chef, going to Turin as an apprentice.
Some years later, returning to his native country, he opened in the town center an elegant confectionery, which even today, with its wooden shelves the white marble tables and brass chandeliers, keeps the same elegance of that time; the place is mentioned among the " Italian Historical ".
