The "historical" version of the famous Tuscan Pici, prepared only with flour and water (therefore without eggs) and which formed the poor dish of the peasants.
They present themselves as rather large and irregular spaghetti and, once cooked, are suitable for various types of seasonings: duck ragu, sausage ragu or, to remain in the pure Tuscan tradition, with potatoes and beans or with the famous aglione della Val of Chiana. Moreover, they are really good for cheese and pepper or even for a sumptuous carbonara.
