Obtained from a blend of PIWI white berried grapes, this wine is decidedly intriguing, thanks to the freshness and acidity typical of the Bronner grape which are well balanced with the complexity and structure of the Johanniter grape. A fascinating wine, which evolves in the glass and invites to a second taste.
Ca 'Apollonio organic farm is located in Romano d’Ezzelino (VI), in the heart of the Veneto foothills, at the foot of Monte Grappa, a UNESCO MAB (Man and the Biosphere) project.
It is spread over eighteen hectares characterized by biodiversity: six planted with vineyards, the others with vegetables, ancient fruits, cereals, olive trees, walnuts, chestnuts, cherries, honey hedges and many other vital ornamental plants and shrubs to try to reconstruct the original fragile ecosystem. .
In this certified organic "botanical garden", the vines are all exclusively of PIWI vines, lovingly cared for by Maria Pia and Massimo Vallotto, strictly following the directives of the oenologist Nicola Biasi, already awarded as "Best young winemaker in Italy 2020 - Vinoway Wine Selection "and" Cult Oenologist 2021 "Selection at the Merano Wine Festival, which describes these new vines as follows:“ PIWI VINES today represent the best and in some cases the only effective way to real sustainable viticulture. Their natural resistance to fungal diseases allows to drastically reduce the number of treatments with various positive side effects: elimination of synthetic chemistry, less soil compaction, protection of water resources and less CO2 production. Thanks to this real environmental sustainability and the very high quality level achieved by the wines produced, the experts refer to them as "THE WINES AND VINES OF THE FUTURE".
