Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt - The Cru Scharzhofberger is located in a side valley of the river Saar. It is probably his most famous vineyard and climatically cooler, it is also included in the classification Erste Lage (best vineyards). With 6.6 hectares, Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt is among the largest owners of this Cru. The vineyard Scharzhofberger has a gradient of 35-60% and is exposed to the south. The soil consists of loess and is rich in stones and slates (up to 70%).
